What Is Duvanta 20?
Duvanta 20mg is a medication primarily used to treat depression, anxiety, and neuropathic pain.
It is a selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SSNRI) antidepressant. Additionally, it is used to treat fibromyalgia, a chronic pain disorder.
Dosage Information
- Take the missed dose of Duvanta 20 MG Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.
- Seek emergency medical treatment in case of an overdose of Duvanta 20 Tablet.
Interactions
- Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during the treatment with Duvanta 20 Tablet due to the increased risk of liver injury.
- Interaction with Medicine:
- Ciprofloxacin
- Aspirin
- Diuretics
- Dextromethorphan
- Disease interactions:
- Diabetes: It should be used with caution if you have diabetes due to the increased risk of alteration in blood sugar levels. Your doctor may adjust your dose or suggest another medicine in such cases.
- Glaucoma: It should be used with caution if you have glaucoma (a group of eye conditions that can cause blindness) due to the risk of an increase in the fluid pressure in the eye. Your doctor may adjust your dose or suggest another medicine in such cases.
Precautions
- It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
